I was delighted to meet photographer Charles Dove on an outing with Michael Atzeni on Friday morning. Mick took the two of us to the Wyreema Wetlands and to Hodgson's Creek at Cambooya for a couple of hours. The light was a bit dull and waterbirds were less abundant than usual at the wetlands but we still enjoyed a collection of beautiful Australian birds. If you look through these pics, don't you think Australia is truly gifted with its parrots? So vivid even in dull conditions.
It was a wonderful little outing outing and I'm very grateful to Mick and Charles for taking me.

Or it is an Eastern Rosella or Crimson Rosella!!
