We visited the rose gardens at Echigo Hillside Park in Nagaoka today. The roses were at their peek on May 31. They are still quite beautiful but we've had strong yet cool wind the last few days. The roses bouncing around in the wind made photographing them quite challenging.
There are roses from all around the world so it is a special place to visit and we enjoyed rose-flavoured soft ice-cream.
